Be prepared for what may happen

Trust is the foundation of great leadership. People need to see your competence and character. You need to understand how they experience you.

Leadership has nothing to do with organizational charts and titles. Leadership has everything to do with the ability to influence people, and the only way you can influence people is if you are able to relate to people.

And if you're going to relate to people, the only way is to build trust. The more trust you can develop, the more you'll be able to relate to people, influence people, and lead people.

Leadership is not an easy thing. It requires a lot of personal learning and change. It is like a life transformation, similar to leaving home, finishing school, starting a career, getting married, or having a child.

In fact, becoming a good leader, you must learn to think, act, and feel in new ways. You will discover new sources of satisfaction and let go of old habits that no longer help you. You will also start asking important questions like: Who am I? What do I want? What value do I bring?

Everyone has their own way of doing things. There are rules, habits, and unspoken expectations, such as “avoid conflict.” These help people work together, but they can also limit growth.

Remember, good leadership does not happen quickly. It takes time, effort, and experience. It is a long journey that may take years. No one can teach it completely you must learn it through your own experiences.

What I admire the most in a value-based leader is true self-confidence. They know what they know, and they admit what they don't know.

Along the way, you will feel proud and fulfilled. You will discover new strengths, new talents, and a deeper sense of purpose in your life. There is no limit to what you can achieve if you have the courage and determination to keep moving forward.
